St Elphin's CE Primary School

In December our arts champions lauched a winter themed art competiton. Everyone was invited to create a piece of art work which shows the beauty of wintertime. We had a huge response so we asked Mrs McKinnon, one of our Governors, to help us decide on the winners. children from Nursery to Year 6 won prizes for their designs which are now proudly displayed in our entrance hall!

In November we invited our Arts Team Leaders and some other gifted artists from across school, to take part in a special ceramics session. The children designed and made a snowman trinket tray which was taken away, fired and glazed by our local artist Deb.
